Weekly Photo Challenge: Urban

I don’t live in an urban area but sadly there are many things that I can relate to when it comes to the urbanization of my area.  This new road cutting through the forest, already primed with lighting, curbs, drainage, planted trees and for sale signs (many of the blocks are already sold), not to mention the beginnings of some unwanted garbage appearing despite no one living there, saddens me a little.  Right now the wallabies are everywhere (okay, not in this particular photo) but once homes start being built, they will be pushed back that little bit farther or risk, like they so often do, their lives to speeding drivers.
